This 2024 example features the iconic brown and black Cerachrom bezel, paired with a rich black dial and Rolesor Everose construction—Oystersteel with 18ct Everose gold. The contrast between polished Everose centre links and the dark bezel gives this model its instantly recognisable Root Beer identity. Powered by the advanced Rolex calibre 3285, the watch offers dual-time functionality, exceptional accuracy and a 70-hour power reserve. The watch turned up, extremely well packed, and exactly as described - well, in actual fact, a lot better than described - it's fantastic and I'm really happy with it. Should you buy now, or wait? I don’t think there’s any need to wait anymore, prices are nice and stable, especially on the everyday pieces, like steel GMT’s, Submariner’s and Datejust models. Gold pieces are representing crazy value, now prices increased at retail, just a few days ago. They certainly won’t be getting any cheaper, after that.
