The Rolex Submariner Date reference 16613LB, famously known as the “Bluesy”, is one of the most recognisable two-tone Rolex models ever produced. This 1999 full-set example features the vibrant sunburst blue dial and matching aluminium bezel insert, perfectly contrasted by the combination of Oystersteel and 18ct yellow gold. Powered by the reliable Rolex calibre 3135, the 16613LB offers proven durability, 300m water resistance and classic pre-ceramic Submariner proportions. The five-digit case and aluminium bezel give this model a slimmer, more vintage profile compared to modern ceramic variants. The watch turned up, extremely well packed, and exactly as described - well, in actual fact, a lot better than described - it's fantastic and I'm really happy with it.
