This is not just any 16610. It’s a very early L serial model, with rare patina. The gloss dial finish has deteriorated naturally, over the years, turning into a rather cool matte dial, resembling an earlier 16800 Submariner. This is not uncommon on early gloss dials, but finding a late 80’s 16610 with papers and both tags is not easy in 2024. You can also see the tritium on the dial, hands and lume pip at 12 o’clock are starting to take on a slight cream patina.

This Rolex has undergone a thorough inspection to ensure 100% authenticity, and to check the water resistance, accuracy, functionality and condition, to determine the level of reconditioning required to meet our strict standards.
