This Rolex has undergone a thorough inspection to ensure 100% authenticity, and to check the water resistance, accuracy, functionality and condition, to ensure it meets our strict standards. The watch retains all of its original parts, dial, hands, bezel etc. The dial patina is unbelievably attractive, looking volcanic red under the sun. The beauty of vintage watches, is that no one watch is identical. Nobody else will have a watch from the same year, with a dial that’s aged like this one. The hands have also patina’d beautifully, adding to the vintage charm of this piece. It has never been polished, as you can see by the lugs on all four corners of the case, they’re razor sharp, and there’s no spring bar protrusion at all. Original bezel insert has faded slightly, so you can tell it’s vintage, but not so much that it simply looked tired. The original jubilee bracelet even shows oxidisation to the yellow gold centre links, further evidence this piece remains unpolished. It was serviced by our watchmaker last year, and is keeping fantastic time.
