This Rolex Cosmograph Daytona ref. 116520 in stainless steel dates to 2011 and comes as a full set. The 40 mm Oystersteel case houses Rolex’s in‑house automatic Calibre 4130 chronograph movement, featuring a sapphire crystal, screw‑down pushers, and water resistance to 100 m. This particular example is in excellent condition and includes the box, papers, full links, booklets, tags, plus a recent Rolex service carried out in 2021. On the wrist the watch feels sleek and well‑balanced, the 40 mm case sliding neatly under a cuff while the Oyster bracelet with Easylink extension ensures a comfortable fit. The condition is excellent, showing only light wear with no notable scratches or blemishes. Should you buy now, or wait? I don’t think there’s any need to wait anymore, prices are nice and stable, especially on the everyday pieces, like steel GMT’s, Submariner’s and Datejust models. Gold pieces are representing crazy value, now prices increased at retail, just a few days ago. They certainly won’t be getting any cheaper, after that.
