The Patek Philippe Annual Calendar 5205R is one of the brand’s most desirable modern complications, combining refined aesthetics with exceptional mechanical craftsmanship. The elegant 18ct rose gold case features sculpted, concave lugs and a polished bezel, paired beautifully with the signature two-tone gradient dial, showcasing day, date and month apertures along the upper arch. Powered by the calibre 324 S QA LU 24H/206, the watch displays moonphase and 24-hour indicators and requires calendar adjustment only once per year. This stunning 2021 full set example includes its original Patek Philippe presentation box, Certificate of Origin, manuals and accessories. Should you buy now, or wait? I don’t think there’s any need to wait anymore, prices are nice and stable, especially on the everyday pieces, like steel GMT’s, Submariner’s and Datejust models. Gold pieces are representing crazy value, now prices increased at retail, just a few days ago. They certainly won’t be getting any cheaper, after that.
